With an Esk Valley Railcard: £2.10 return.

Without an Esk Valley Railcard: £3.00

This service operates from Westerdale, Castleton, Ainthorpe, Danby & Houlsyke. The service can make small diversions to pick up and set down passengers both in the Esk Valley and in Whitby.

The Whitby shopper bus is a demand responsive service, which means that in order to travel you will need to book your travel in advance. To book ring Good Neighbours on the Monday or Tuesday in the week of your journey.

Returning from Whitby at 1.45 p.m

This service runs Thursdays fortnightly

This service is not age restricted

The services are run as demand responsive travel & you must pre-book your journey. Please ring 01947 606440 to book on the Monday or Tuesday. If you ring out of office hours leave a message on the answer phone giving your name, telephone number, number of passengers & pick up point.

Please note: Our operating permit only allows us to run a "book in advance" demand responsive service. Passengers who have not booked cannot be carried.

As a community transport organisation, we are not included in the Concessionary Travel Scheme & you cannot use your "free" travel pass. However, discounted fares for holders of the Esk Valley Railcard still apply.
